This hand pressed flower card features the whole bloom of White Phlox, standing out against a black background, the flower head needs no further adornment! To add an extra touch, I have sewn a tinted coloured signature inside to elevate your handwritten message. All the cards that I make are individually designed using flowers gathered from my garden which I then hand press and dry, ready to create beautiful, unique greeting cards using painted and collaged backgrounds.

Description

In the Smallgarden, every year, I press the flowers that would otherwise fade and disappear. What better way to spread their beauty than by making cards. The flowers and herbs that don’t make it into oil infusions or balms are carefully placed between blotting paper and then layered together in a book press. Some cards will have a painted or collaged background, and all have been hand-painted by me on heavy-weight fine art paper making them suitable for framing. The cards are wrapped in biodegradable cellophane and cardboard packaging.
