This soap with its luxury oils and butters will elevate your daily cleansing with a soothing and moisturising experience. Full of nutrients with no hidden anything!
A slight touch as I move past the lavender in my garden releases its potent scents. Happily growing next to my roses, the lavender produces copious amounds of fragrant stalks, leaves and flowers. These, I dry and incorporate into olive oil to create slow infusions. Over a minimum of six weeks in a warm, dark place ensures all the medicinal properties that are imbued within the plant, are now fully incorporated into the oil, ready for me to combine with more rich, premium oils and butters to create waterless soaps, salves and body oils.
That the scent of lavender calms and relaxes is well known, Elizabethan washer women were called Lavenders as a result of their use of lavender and the scent of lavender was still detectable on the opening of Tutankhamun's tomb. You can also use it to treat burns and aching muscles.
Yarrow lives at the far back in my herb garden. This ancient herbs beauty is in more than its feathery leaves and pretty white flowers. It was used on the battle ground to staunch the flowing blood from wounds and is used to reduce redness and rosacea, soothing sensitive and irritated skin.
Lavender and Yarrow combine to make a gently cleansing and non-drying, soothing bar of traditional soap.
To extend the life of your soap allow to dry between use. Keep your soap on a free draining soap dish, or hang in your shower inside a soap saver.
Most of all enjoy your soft clean, hydrated skin!

Each bar of soap will contain the same base ingredients with variations to each bar in shade and design. Our small batches take six weeks after making to fully cure. Information will be available on restocking products. Our soap is purely plant based and vegan friendly and our ingredients to the best of our ability are ethically sourced. Each bar is handmade, hand poured, hand cut, hand labelled and hand packaged. There may be slight variations in weight from batch to batch and the weight of the individual bar of soap will always be a declared weight minimum 120g per bar.
