In the Smallgarden, every year, I press the flowers that would otherwise fade and disappear. What better way to spread their beauty than by making cards. The flowers and herbs that don’t make it into oil infusions and balms are carefully placed between blotting paper and then layered together in a book press. My cards will have a painted bird or flower or a collaged background making them unique one-of-a-kind cards. All have been hand-painted by me on heavy-weight fine art paper making them suitable for framing.
